AI receptionist for dental practices

- Says it is an AI assistant
- Never tells a patient they are booked
- Your number stays the same
Overflow and after hours
What happens to a call the front desk cannot take
Calls reach it only when you choose: after hours, or when the line is busy. Patients dial the number they always have.
- 01
It says what it is
It names your practice and says it is the practice's AI assistant, and that the call is transcribed.
- 02
It answers from your list
Hours, parking, whether you take new NHS patients, what a check-up costs. It quotes only prices on your list.
- 03
It takes the request
Name, number, reason and a preferred time. It reads the number back in short groups, so a misheard digit is caught on the call.
- 04
It never says "booked"
It cannot see your diary, so it ends: "I've noted your request. The team will call you on this number to confirm."
- 05
Your team gets a ready request
Each request arrives where you choose, with its transcript, ready for the first person in to call back and book.
Limits
What it will not do
- It gives no clinical advice. If a caller describes an emergency, it tells them to call 999 or 112, or 000 in Australia. Anything else urgent gets your own out-of-hours advice, word for word.
- It never pretends to be a person, or to put a caller through.
- It does not ask for dates of birth, card details or medical history.
- It speaks English only.
- More on this in how we use AI voices.
Before it goes live
How we test it before it goes live
We are new, so we prove it rather than claim it. There are no client case studies yet; our work page shows scripted sample calls and our own builds, each labelled.
- 01
YouOne conversation
How your phone works today, and what the assistant should say.
- 02
WeTest calls first
A new patient, a cancellation, a caller pushing for a time, an emergency, a request for advice. It fails if it claims a booking, gives advice or gets a number wrong.
- 03
YouCall it yourself
Try to catch it out. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
- 04
WeData agreed, then live
Before any live call, we agree in writing how call data is handled. After that, a short weekly note: calls, requests, anything urgent and anything it could not handle.
Price
What it costs
We do not publish prices, because every phone line is different. You get yours in writing after one conversation, before any work starts.
- One monthly plan, with setup, the script, the voice and testing included.
- Sized by the minutes of calls you expect, with any extra-minute rate agreed first.
- Month to month. Any minimum term is written down before you start.
For agencies
For agencies that resell AI receptionists
If you sell AI reception to dental practices, we build, test and run the agent under your brand.
- It speaks as the practice's assistant; our name never comes up.
- Every build ships with a written report from 50 scripted test calls, with the transcripts.
- We never contact your client. The price is fixed in writing first.
Getting started
What you need to start
- Your hours, and the out-of-hours advice you give patients today.
- The questions your desk answers daily, and your price list.
- What counts as urgent, and where requests should arrive.
- A phone line that can forward calls. We check yours with you.
Questions
Questions practice managers ask
Will patients know it is an AI?Yes. It says so when it answers.
A caller who would rather speak to a person gets a call back from your team.
Can it book straight into our practice software? No. Your team books every appointment.
It never sees your diary. If you want a direct connection later, we will first tell you in writing whether your software allows it.
What happens to the call data?It is agreed in writing before any live call.
Each call produces a transcript and a request: name, number, reason and preferred time. Where that is kept, for how long and who can see it goes into our written agreement with you.
Does it work in Ireland and Australia?Yes, in English.
It is set up with your own hours, time zone, emergency number and out-of-hours advice.
Tell us how your phones work today.
A few lines is enough: when calls get missed, how many sites you run and what the assistant should do. We reply by email with a few questions and a time to talk.
